- Quantum Imports Chewing Gum Shape Mini Stick DVR Camera
- small. almost wightless making not effect the flight path that much
- easy to use. basicly only 3 buttons.
- built in camera
- just duck tape to rocket for a recorded flight
- Thats why i think this would be a successful camer to use during rocket flight and was a probably used during the video.

Glider Challenge: Deliverables

Design Process to Test day
-Came up with 3 designs during our brainstorm session
-We chose one that would be easy to build and in our opinion would fly pretty decently compared to our other 2 designs
-Built and rebuilt and redesigned as obsticles came up
-such as breaking, glue drying capabilities and weight
-Tested and again redesigned our plane
-we had to put a weight on it and then take some off as it became to heavy
-Competition day, 2nd in distance, 4th in flight time.
Redesigns:
-weight in the front to keep it moving down and not flipping upwards
-Kept it from not nose diving as much as ours did
-replaced wings. The wings kept breaking so we replaced them

engineering program investigation

College/University of interest: MIT
Why does this institution appeal to you?:
-This college interests me because I want to become some sort of engineer and this is an engineering school.
Which engineering program is most interesting to you and why?:
-The nanotechnology program is most interesting to me because I have never heard of it before so I was really intrigued by the program.
Which undergraduate engineering elective is most interesting? Describe the course and its appeal to you: -Nanotech. because again I have never heard of it.
-This course includes developing Nanotech. for millitary and medical uses. For the millitary the interest lies in the kind of body armer they would have created.
-I really don't have an interest in medical purposes but it was part of the course description.

Egg Drop Challenge-Iteration #1
I didnt take an actual picture but that is a sketch of what Gustavo and I dropped.
Joe's design-
-weight-Joe's design only weighed 19g making it max out on the weight achievments which is ideal for maximum achievments.
-egg survival-the pull noodle and the parachute worked wellt together which kept the egg alive while not having a load of weight.
Total # of achievments earned-19 (not including points for setting up the drop zone or coming up with ideas for next years class which would give us 21)
-Brainstorming-+4
-Material Prep-+2
-Material size +2
-Material weight-+5
-Egg resiliance-+6
-Setting up drop zone-+1
-Idea for next year-+1
Our design resulted in....

Redesign-
Parachute-get rid of the parachute because it didnt slow enough to stop fall but created enough drag to throw off target.
More Cottenballs-since we were over the 50g mark add enough cotten balls and tape to get it just below the mark

TED video
grade increase since students started using the online system at a school in the U.S.
1) What is the TED organization about?
The TED organization is a small non-profit organization devoted to spreading worthy ideas. They have videos on everything.
2) What is the purpose of their website and how does the functionality of their site support that?
The purpose of the webiste is to spread and support ideas through video.
3) As Engineers and Problem Solvers, which topic areas (the choices from the "Show talks related to:" section on the sidebar) are of most interest to us? Justify your answer.
The topics that most interest me are the ones that are about education because that is the kind of life i am in now.
4) Based on your previous answer, what are 3 talks (videos) on the site that appear like they would be of most interest to you as an Engineer/Problem Solver? Justify your choices.
Based on my videos salman khan: lets use video to reinvent education, Arthur Benjamin's formula for changing math education, and Michelle Obama plea for education. I picked these because they were all about education and as i explained I want to learn about education because i am still in school.
5) Each student will watch a unique video. Claim your video on the following period specific posts: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. If no one else has claimed your video there yet, leave a comment on that post to call the one you want. If someone else has already claimed the talk, go back and pick another one. Watch the video. Create and post a bulletized outline of the key issues presented in the talk.
6) How could you get involved in the field/technology/issue you chose to hear about? What experience/skills/training/education would you need to learn to get involved with this field?
To get involved i would become a teacher. Go to college and get a teaching degree and use the online education system to teach my students.

- Online Education is a way to revalutionize education by students rewatching and learning at their own pace.
- kids are learning better and are getting better grades.
- Really easy to use because its just on youtube and on the TED site.

RoboPro variables and subprogramming
In this activity we used RoboPro. We learned about subprograms and meters and created our own program using RoboPro.
We benifit from using subprograms because it clears ups space and allows people using subprograms to have multiple programs running. Its a really good way to organize work with RoboPro.
